O’Neill partners with Flowbox in order to showcase their products in action and boost their digital community

O’Neill Colombia has partnered with Flowbox, one of the leading UGC platforms on the market in order to improve the customer journey on their site and to interact better with their social media community in a positive and inclusive way. 

O’Neill makes casual clothing and accessories for those who want to live an adventurous lifestyle. Their typical consumer base can be described as being passionate about sports, surfing, nature, travel, and the environment.

User Generated Content is an important part of O’Neill’s marketing strategy as it allows them to broaden the array of product-based content that can be featured on their website and social media pages. This visual approach also helps them to build upon and further engage their social media community. 

The social media users that tag O’Neill in their posts featuring their products can then be displayed on their website, which in turn, motivates more people to do the same so that they too can get involved. 

O’Neill also uses influencer marketing strategy in their marketing campaigns, which is a key part of their content strategy as a means to connect with their audience. They divide their influencers into two groups brand ambassadors (who boast large followings and have a large sway in the social media world), and ‘Team O’Neill’ (users who are relatable people who love sports, especially surfing). 

The brand is very satisfied with the Flowbox platform and especially the level of flexibility that it offers. Overall they have found the tool to be user-friendly and intuitive.

The integration went smoothly, and any questions or concerns the brand had were quickly answered. Thanks to their UGC integration, O’Neill is able to carry out daily content collection and management functions independently.

It’s worth mentioning that O’Neill also works with VTEX, a leading eCommerce solution that is especially prominent in Latin America. It was important to the brand that both Flowbox and VTEX blended well together in order to create the ideal eCommerce experience on their site. 

“Everything is working perfectly. We like the tools and we feel that using them is like interacting with a cell phone, very simple. I feel that VTEX and Flowbox complement each other. Where Flowbox’s layout is placed on the website and the way it’s set up and designed is pretty cool. We really like that it updates very quickly, which allows us to constantly change the posts. That’s why I think they complement each other well.”
