We all know that saying goodbye to summer may be difficult, but autumn can come as a fresh start, especially for those who consider September to be like the beginning of a new year, as it involves getting back on track with routine, habits, and duties after the summer break. That’s why we decided that our theme for September’s edition of Flowboxer of the Month would be ‘back to school, work, and routine’.
This month, Tingstad is wearing our UGC crown! Founded in 1959, the Swedish stationery, consumables, work wear and equipment brand boasts a vast catalogue of different materials, quality products and solutions for those who run a business or work remotely and want to simplify their working environment.
Starting from the homepage, users are greeted with a UGC gallery featuring images of how to fit and combine some products, or even how to make them by themselves. Consumers only have to look for the materials they need, and then have a look at the inspiration gallery to get some stunning ideas for their creations.
When it comes to selling the brand’s articles online, the challenge is to encourage consumers to trust in the products before purchasing them or having a look at them in person. Therefore, Tingstad’s website is able to give shoppers the best idea of their products as well as providing inspiration for users to incorporate them into their homes. They achieved this by integrating the customer content with Flowbox’s User Generated Content platform on its website and integrating all this content into their eCommerce store.
Brands like Tingstad are capable of building a strong community of loyal customers who speak on behalf of the brand on social media. Implementing user’s pictures of your products ‘in action’ helps give people an idea of how real and unique your product is, and how it would fit into your life.
Plus, if future consumers have the possibility to see lots of photos and videos of happy customers in an eCommerce store, it only encourages them to buy the brand’s products. In this way, UGC becomes a visual review, the brand can experience a rise in their interaction rate and their final conversions.
