E-commerce Confidential in Barcelona: Case Studies, Round Tables and Conversations

Table of Contents

On 20th March 2026, Flowbox joined forces with Omni-Wallet, Boostic and Oct8ne to host E-commerce Confidential — a day built for e-commerce professionals to get into the details, share what’s actually working and have an honest conversation about where the industry is heading.

Held at the Sinapsis offices in Barcelona’s Eixample district, E-commerce Confidential was less about impersonal lectures and more about real exchange amongst those in the field. Each of the four hosts brought a client case study to share, and conversations went well beyond the formal sessions.

A round table on AI in e-commerce closed out the day, giving everyone a chance to keep the conversation going on what turned out to be the afternoon’s biggest topic.

    The Case Studies

Between the four co-hosts, the sessions brought some of the most relevant e-commerce challenges to the table and more importantly, how they were solved:

    • Flowbox x Moulinex: How Moulinex used user-generated content to bring their website to life and turn it into a driver of engagement, inspiration and conversion.
    • Boostic x Casa del Libro: How Casa del Libro transformed a catalogue of over one million references into a high-performing sales structure with optimised ROAS on Google and Meta.
    • Omni-Wallet x MUSBOMBON: How MUSBOMBON bridged the gap between physical and online store data to better understand their customers and improve purchase recurrence.
    • Oct8ne x Castañer: How Castañer combined AI and human agents to successfully manage peak demand periods without compromising on customer experience.

    The AI Round Table

To close out the afternoon, the floor was opened up for an honest conversation about AI in e-commerce. Perspectives came from all corners of the room, including Jordi Ordóñez, a Barcelona-based freelance e-commerce and Amazon consultant whose experience added real depth to the discussion.

A few themes stood out: treating physical and online stock as a strategic decision rather than a logistical one, the untapped potential of loyalty programmes for audience segmentation, and AI in customer service as a way to bring agility and scalability without losing quality.

For Cristina Baeza, Sales Manager Spain at Flowbox, the round table was where it all came together.

What excited me most was seeing the brands that are already clients and those that aren’t, all together in the same room. Seeing how they shared with each other during the coffee and lunch breaks — but without a doubt, what I’ll take away most is the round table, which in the end turned into an open and incredibly enriching debate!

Those who came along weren’t short of things to take away either.

The event is really interesting as it helps to reinforce the ideas we already have about artificial intelligence, and also rethink the things we’re still unsure about, so we can finally put them into action or plan them for the long term.

Alix Pi, E-commerce Manager at Misako

It’s been great. The e-commerce and digital atmosphere, the good vibes, the camaraderie — sharing ideas, concerns, and above all, learning from each other.

Carlos Aragonès, D2C Lead at GroupSEB Spain and Portugal

We were really looking forward to the event because you can always pick up new things, new tools that we’d love to integrate such as Flowbox for example, which we already work with. It’s been great, we’re leaving happy and with a lot of knowledge and resources.

José Cuadrado, Head of Tech at Guau & Cat

Events like E-commerce Confidential are a reminder of what happens when the right people are in the same room. A special thanks to our co-hosts Omni-Wallet, Boostic and Oct8ne for bringing such a strong programme together. We hope to see you at the next one.
